Crosslink-Builder

I have just received an automated message from a website called “Crosslink-Builder” basically asking me for a link exchange between their site and one of our sites.
Quite obviously it is an SEO tool (Search Engine Optimisation), but it is the first time that I have seen an automated message where a site is basically recommending reciprocal links between similar sites.
Has anybody used this service before? Any feedback on results?

Thanks for the link – definately looks spammy.
It was also for a healthcare related site which appears to be something that other people on that thread were also saying.
Will avoid.

There are lots of SEO Tools out there but the good ones cost 100 dollars or more-,*
